The Domestic Abuse Commissioner’s strategy for 2026-29 sets out a three-year plan to improve outcomes for people who have experienced domestic abuse across England and Wales. Shaped by lived experience and frontline evidence, it focuses on addressing gaps in support, improving accountability and securing sustainable funding for services.

The Domestic Abuse Commissioner's strategy prioritises reform in four key areas: specialist domestic abuse services, health, policing and probation. Through her independent statutory role, the Commissioner will use evidence, advocacy and scrutiny to drive systemic change, strengthen public services and ensure victims and survivors receive the support they need to recover and thrive.
